Guide Amulet
Crafted by Idaho Guide J.C. Caccia. Sterling Silver or Bronze. The amulet was co-designed with The Redside Foundation. It depicts, in pictographic images, the river canyons and the wildlife that inspires every wilderness lover. The Big Horn Sheep represents the four-legged. The Eagle is for the winged creatures. The Salmon is for all of the fish. The Tree is for the flora. The Human is carrying a fly rod, riffle, paddle or skis (depending on your point of view)- his/her/their tools for moving through and connecting with the natural world and symbolizing the Guide. The guide's role is to introduce, safely escort, and share with others the wonders of the natural world while protecting both the guests and the whole ecosystems through which they travel.
The amulet is one inch long and 3/4 inch wide at its widest point. Comes with a leather lace to make the prefect necklace.
