Warehouse Manager- Stanley, ID
Rocky Mountain River Tours is looking for a Warehouse Manager for the Summer 2025 Season in Stanley, ID. You will manage warehouse cleanliness, organization, food and gear inventory. Manage trip foodpacking and preparation. Manage working relationships with Rocky Management, Food and Bev vendors and Sawtooth Adventure Company/Rocky guide teams.
COMPENSATION & DETAILS
● Approximately 40 hours over a 7 day work week from May 20 - September 10 for $18,000 Seasonal Salary and a10% available performance-based bonus program. Additional benefits include: $150 for each special menu guest (6-12 per season) and Housing available.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Carry out all warehouse cleaning tasks personally or through delegation.
● Ordering produce, beverages, meats, dairy, and frozen foods as needed by working closely with vendors and keeping inventories up-to-date.
● Ordering food and beverages and directing or undertaking inventory updates for Sawtooth Adventure Co’s lunch trips by working closely with SAC management
● Manage inventory of needed gear, first-aid supplies, and guide supplies and ordering through necessary channels in a timely fashion,
● Communicating with guides post-trip to order, fix, or update any items necessary and managing and updating all lists used for trips, food packing, gear packing, ordering, and
menus.
● Manage organization of gear, cold and dry food, lists, and supplies.
● Preparation, packaging, portioning, and some precooking for all produce, meats, cheeses, dried goods, and frozen goods for individual trips
● Providing and updating all lists for food packing, trailer packing, and gear packing toguides before rig times, and presenting any relevant knowledge for food or other
allergies as needed.
● Creating special menu meals for clients paying an additional fee for dietary restrictions.
● Creating meals and recipes for guides returning to warehouse post-trip for family dinners.
● Creating easy to-go and on-the-go meals and recipes for guides rig lunches, ramp dinners and breakfasts, and deadhead meals.
● Laundering of sleep sets, wet suits, wet gear, splash gear, and managing use of laundry room.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
● Some weeks may require more than 40+ hours of work in order to complete necessary tasks.
● The Warehouse Manager will be in charge of their own daily schedule, and should schedule time off and breaks to accommodate the RMRT Middle Fork and Main Salmon

● This job requires frequent heavy lifting of packages and gear. Must be able to lift up to 60lbs.
● This position may require recurring trips to Ketchum/Hailey to pick up supplies for special menus and regular trip items
● Must be Adaptable and able to think and act quickly to challenges and changes.
● Driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable vehicle
● Knowledge of cooking, following recipes accurately, food prep, and baking preferred
● Food Handler’s Permit.
● Ability to communicate clearly,delegate tasks and manage people and think and act quickly.
● Deliver and receive feedback in a professional manner

Assistant Director, Climbing Center and Outdoor Programs, U of I - Moscow, ID
The Assistant Director, Climbing Center and Outdoor Programs oversees day-to-day leadership and administrative functions of the Climbing Center including hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of student employees. The Assistant Director manages the Climbing Center budget, employee payroll, and is responsible for researching, purchasing, and the maintenance/repair of the facility and equipment. The position will be responsible for designing, planning, scheduling, publicizing, coordinating, and instructing a variety of instructional trips, instructional programs, and classes within the Student Recreation Center Climbing Center and Outdoor Program. The position will manage the recruitment, hiring and training of student staff in preparation for their roles as trip staff. Other duties include assisting the Director in implementing risk management procedures and policies for student led programs used for Outdoor Program and Climbing Center activities. The Assistant Director will oversee the Outdoor Program Graduate Support Assistant. The position will assist the Outdoor and Youth Programs Director with other duties within the Outdoor Program such as leading a variety of wilderness and outdoor recreational and developmental activities for the university community. Other duties include directing safety inspections and maintenance of the Climbing Center and Climbing Center equipment.

Qualifications
2+ years in whitewater raft guiding
CPR and First Aid certifications
Strong leadership, decision-making, and customer service skills
Ability to lift heavy equipment (rafts, paddles, gear)
Responsibilities
Lead and guide rafting trips for guests of various skill levels
Provide safety instructions, rafting education, and oversee equipment
Mentor and manage raft guide team, ensuring all protocols are followed

High School Teacher, Advisor, Outdoor Instructor -- Idaho & Chile

Join our team at Alzar School, an accredited semester high school and nonprofit, with the mission to "build leaders who positively impact the world." We are based in Cascade, Idaho and Coyhaique, Chile.
TEACHER:
Bring academic content to life through experiential learning! Teach 10th-11th grade high school students in one or more subject areas: math, science, English, History, Spanish, Leadership. We are equipped to support early career educators and train qualified individuals to be successful high school teachers (including earning a teaching license). Teachers travel to Chile with students for 7-8 weeks each semester, and join 6-12 day expeditions in both Idaho and Chile, leading in backpacking or whitewater river expeditions.
COMMUNITY AND EXPERIENTIAL ADVISOR (CEA):
Support student well-being in a residential boarding school environment. Serve as mentor, PE teacher, academic sub, and more. Our CEAs form close bonds with students and help create an inclusive and powerful community. Like teachers, CEAs also travel to Chile and lead as outdoor instructors on expeditions in Idaho and Patagonia, Chile.
