Redside Rendezvous Dutch Oven Cook-Off
The Dutch Oven Cook-Off will be Friday, May 17th, at The Redside Rendezvous. You do not need to be a registered ticket holder of The Rendezvous to compete. However, if you are attending Rendezvous, we encourage your participation.

Entries
Individuals or teams (no limit, all compete equally)
No entry fees.
Dutch Oven categories are entrée, sides, and dessert.
No limit on the # of Dutch Oven dishes entered by individuals or teams.
You may enter any or all categories.
Make generous portions as your dish will participate in Friday night’s Rendezvous feast.
You must fill out a registration form with your name, the number of contestants on your team, and the name(s) of your dish(es).
Dishes will be judged on presentation, aroma, taste, and creativity!

The Venue Set Up
The Dutch Oven Cook-Off venue will be on the grass adjacent to Mountain Village.
Station Set Up – starts between 3:30 - 4:00 p.m., cook-off crew will show you where to set up. (Please let us know if you need to get started earlier)
Charcoal will be provided.
Dishes need to be ready for presentation for judging at 6:00 p.m.
Dinner is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

Any kitchen items you may need: stoves, utensils (cooking & serving), cutting boards, coolers, meat thermometers (if needed)

Ingredients and equipment needed to prepare the dish(es)
Elevated Fire Pan
Fire Blanket, if you have one (to protect the grass)
Rules & Regulations
All dishes need to be prepared on-site.
All Ingredients must be combined, chopped, sliced, diced, and cooked on-site, including marinades & garnishes. Pre-cooked items are not allowed.
Dishes must be cooked in a Dutch oven
Please know and practice safe food handling procedures.
