The Redside Foundation offer free and confidential counseling services to professional outdoor guides in ID, MT, WY, or CO.
If you or another guide you know need mental health care or substance use disorder care, please call or text the Guide Helpline: (208)740-1192
Leave a message with your contact information, and our case manager/licensed counselor will respond within 48 hours. You are eligible for up to eight sessions with a provider in your area or via telehealth. Concerned outfitters/employers may also use this resource.

Free and confidential financial advice for Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado guides.
Fill out the request form (available here) and our Financial Advisor will respond within 7 business days to set up a 30-minute phone appointment. You will receive professional financial coaching on topics such as savings plans, managing debt, 401k options, IRAs, Roth IRAs, retirement savings, investing, or anything related to personal finance.

Education assistance for Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado guides
The Redside Foundation offers four Guide Scholarships.
One Telly Evans Memorial Scholarship at the University of Idaho for an Idaho Guide.
Four Redside Foundation Guide Scholarships are awarded to four guides attending any accredited college, university, trade, or professional school in the U.S. Guides must work in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming or Colorado.
Scholarships are $1000 each.

Providing funding for professional outdoor guides in ID, WY, MT, and CO to advance their guiding careers, guide in a new discipline, or secure guide-related employment.
Applicants will be awarded based on need and the quality of their application.

The Redside Foundation hosts an Annual Health Fair and offer vouchers good for $100 off of physical health care services at various providers in Idaho.

Our cornerstone event is our annual Redside Rendezvous, a pre-summer season gathering that focuses on professional and personal development, community building, and our annual health fair.
Other community events are hosted throughout the year in the regions we serve.
